ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Child Care Assistance Program helps eligible families pay for safe, reliable child care while parents or caretakers work, attend school, or participate in approved training programs.
possible Funding
Funding may be available for:
- Full-time or part-time child care
- Before and after school care for school-age children
- Evening and weekend care for parents or caretakers who work nontraditional hours
- School vacation and summer care
Assistance is generally available for children up to age 13.
In some cases, youth with special needs may qualify for care up to age 18 or 19.
