Bail & Bond Information

Bail payment

Bail for incarcerated individuals can be paid at the Wyoming County Jail 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. When making a bail payment, valid identification must be presented before the jail can accept the funds.

Accepted payment methods for bail include:

  • Cash – exact amount required
  • Credit Card*

*Please note, a non-refundable transaction fee applies to credit card bail payments.

Bail bonds

Bail bonds involve a person or company pledging money or property to secure the release of an incarcerated individual pending their court appearance. All bonds for incarcerated individuals at the Wyoming County Jail must be arranged through New York State licensed bail bond agents.

The Wyoming County Jail does not facilitate bond arrangements nor endorse any specific bond agents. Individuals currently incarcerated at the jail are not permitted to make bond arrangements themselves. All bond transactions must be handled by someone who is not incarcerated.
