The responsibility of the County Administrator is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the county. Serving as a key liaison between the Board of Supervisors and county departments, ensuring that policies and initiatives are effectively implemented under the Board’s guidance and direction.

Scott brings nearly three decades of extensive experience in municipal and hospital administration to Wyoming County. His career has spanned diverse roles, including positions in Walled Lake, Michigan, and at Eastern Niagara Hospital in Lockport. Scott has also served as the Director of Finance and Administration for the City of Lockport, where he spearheaded initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. His leadership in county administration includes previous roles in Montgomery, Cortland, and Jefferson Counties, where he gained a reputation for fostering collaboration and driving positive outcomes for communities.

A proud graduate of Attica High School, Scott is deeply connected to the region he now serves. He is a dedicated family man, happily married, and the father of three children. His blend of professional expertise and personal commitment to Wyoming County positions him as a steadfast leader devoted to the county’s growth and success.
