PROGRAM OVERVIEW
This program aims to prevent, diagnose and treat sexually transmitted infections (STIs) through education, testing and treatment while also addressing stigma and promoting sexual health.
GET TESTED AND TREATED
- Many STIs do not have symptoms, but can still cause health problems.
- The only way to know for sure if you have an STI is to get tested.
- Many STIs are curable and all are treatable.
- If you test positive:
- If either you or your partner is infected with an STI that can be cured, both of you need to start treatment immediately to avoid getting reinfected.
- No one is ever denied testing or services based on their ability to pay.
